Nissan has finally launched the Magnite Red Edition in India at a starting price of Rs 7.86 lakh and it goes up to Rs 9.99 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. It is expensive by Rs 25,000 from regular trims and is made available in XV non-turbo, XV turbo and XV CVT turbo.
This red edition gets red accents on the front grille, front bumper cladding, wheel arch and body side cladding. On the outside, it also gets body graphics, tail door garnish and Red edition badging. It retains 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED daytime running lights and LED taillights.
The cabin of the Magnite red edition receives a red-themed dashboard and red accents on the centre console and door pads. Nissan Magnite Red Edition is made available in two exterior shades - Storm White and Onyx Black.
Feature-wise, the compact SUV gets a push-button start/stop, PM 2.5 air filter, LED scuff plate, ambient mood lighting, 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 7.0-inch TFT instrument cluster, wireless charger and more.
Safety equipment on the Magnite Red Edition includes traction control, vehicle dynamics control, brake assist, hill start assist, rear view camera with projection guide, reverse parking sensors, dual-airbags at the front, ABS with EBD, front seat-belt reminder, a high-speed alert system and more.

Powering the Nissan Magnite Red Edition are two engine options - 1.0L non-turbo petrol and 1.0L turbo petrol. The former produces 71 bhp of power with a peak torque of 96 Nm while the turbo petrol motor belts out 99 bhp and 160 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines are mated to a five-speed manual transmission as standard and the turbo petrol gets CVT as an option. The peak torque in the 1.0L turbo CVT sticks to 152 Nm.
