Nissan Motor India is all set to launch its second vehicle for the Indian market, the X-Trail on 1 August. The Nissan X-Trail is returning to the Indian market and will be brought as a Completely Built-up Unit (CBU). Nissan X-Trail - Dimensions, Design, & Features
The Nissan X-Trail is a three-row SUV with a big stance. The SUV measures 4,680 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,725 mm in height. Moreover, it boasts a wheelbase of 2,705 mm and a ground clearance of 210 mm.
The front profile gets Nissan's V-motion grille with some chrome elements and a split headlamp design with LED DRLs, and the front bumper gets a silver skid plate. The side profile gets big 20-inch alloy wheels, side body cladding, and circular wheel arches. The rear profile gets a wraparound LED tail lamp, an integrated roof spoiler, and a silver skid plate on the rear bumper as well.
On the inside, the SUV gets a 3-row seating configuration. On the features front, it boasts a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, paddle shifters, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control, and wireless charging, among other convenience features. The safety net of the X-Trail consists 360-degree camera, 7 airbags, front, and rear parking sensors, rain-sensing wipers, an automatic headlamp, hill-hold assist, electronic parking brake among other safety features.
Nissan X-Trail Engine Specifications
The X-Trail in India will come with a 1.5-liter turbocharged petrol engine with a 12V mild-hybrid system. This engine produces 163 PS of power and 300 Nm of peak torque. The brand has paired this engine with a CVT gearbox and it will be available in the 2WD configuration in India. The 0-100 kmph acceleration is claimed to be 9.6 seconds.
