Yezdi Roadster Trail Pack - Details
Priced at Rs 16,000, the Trail Pack offers a combination of accessories that aim to enhance the appeal of the Roadster bike. Yezdi has been selling the Roadster in India for a long time, but, its sales have always been mediocre. Last year in September, Yezdi gave the bike a mid-life update, including new ergonomics and visual changes. However, it did not work out very well and the sales remained consistent, if not improved.
Now, the Trail Pack addition is being offered without any additional cost, with the bike. It includes - a visor kit, a headlight grille, a crash guard, a saddle stay with saddle bags, a pillion backrest, and a bike cover. These cosmetic and utility add-ons cost Rs 16,000 if brought separately after the purchase of the motorcycle. The pricing of the Roadster standard at Rs 2.09 lakh (ex-showroom) and it rivals the Royal Enfield Classic 350 and Honda CB350. The Roadster is powered by a 334cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It generates a peak power of 29bhp and a peak torque of 28.9Nm. It comes mated with a 6-speed transmission which uses a slipper-clutch for seamless shifts.

Verdict
Yezdi's comeback in India has been a medicore performance, if not the best. While Yezdi is doing its best to revive its product sales, the add-on accessories are likely to keep the models alive, until new models with improved technology are launched.
