This Nexon belongs to a famous YouTuber and his channel goes with the name MotoZip. The famous modified is Brotomotive and we have brought their content to you guys a lot. Based out of Pune, they cover everything. Be it ceramic coating, graphene coating, repainting of an older vehicle, interiors update, restoration of an older vehicle, wrapping and among others, they got you covered.
As you can see from the video and the shots, this Nexon was in really bad shape. It has been hit from several parts, there are small scratches, some dents and even the paint quality has deteriorated. And to bring the quality again, the Brotomotiv team had to really work hard with all the steps and procedures.
Be it applying the putty, body filler or more, they have fixed the Nexon really well. They have applied primer to the whole SUV and not just the parts needed. They say that paint correction is something that shouldn't be hampered with and they don't believe in cost-cutting measures.
One of the reasons to paint the SUV in the black shade again was because of the stringent norms in Delhi-NCR from where the vehicle belonged. According to the owner, the procedure to change colour on the RC is a bit difficult so to stay clear of the hassles, he opted the black colour again.
This particular black shade is the Onyx Black that comes with Volvo cars and on this Nexon, it fits well. Furthermore, the panels have been painted into gloss black to fit the contrast.
More about the SUV then it packs a 1.5L turbo diesel that generates 108 bhp with 260 Nm of peak torque. This has a 6-speed manual gearbox but you also get an AMT unit too.
