India's most affordable Renault Kiger now receives a price hike of Rs 33,00 across some variants. The base RXE non-turbo is priced at Rs 5.45 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi only. The change is seen on the mid-spec as well as higher variants of the Kiger.
Here is the revision of the 1.0L non-turbo variants -

As you can see from the table above, the mid-spec RXT variant of Renault Kiger gets the highest price hike of Rs 20,000 and the RXZ variant is expensive by Rs 14,000. The 1.0-litre NA is available with a 5-speed manual as well as an AMT unit and the price hike is mentioned in the table above.

This 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated BS6 engine is the same as which comes in the Triber. It generates 72 PS of power with 96 Nm of peak torque. While it feels good to drive in the city with mild to bumper to bumper traffic, the same cannot be said for highway drives.

The 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine is available in three variants only - RXL, RXT and RXZ. The mid-spec RXT gets the highest increase of Rs 30,000. This engine produces 99 bhp at 5000 RPM with a peak torque of 160 Nm at 2800 RPM. The CVT version generates 152 Nm of peak torque and there is no price revision for the CVT variants.
Renault Kiger being the most affordable compact SUV in the segment offers several features like a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and automatic climate control and cruise control. It also gets ambient lighting, wireless phone charging and others.

For safety, it also gets four airbags, ABS with EBD and Brake Assist (HBA), Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Start Assist (HSA). Additionally, its cousin Nissan Magnite also gets a Latin NCAP crash rating of 4-stars so it is safer to say that the Kiger also packs in the same since they both share the same CMF-A platform.
