Renault Triber AMT was a long-awaited option in the Triber range as most of the young-age buyers prefer automatic over manual. Lack of automatic option was impeding the sales of the Triber but now, that blank space is filled. The Triber AMT will be available in three variants - RXL, RXT and RXT. The base RXE variant will be only available with manual variant. The automatic trims of the Triber are around Rs 40,000 expensive than the manual trims.
Trims | Prices (Ex-showroom) |
RXE | Rs 4.99 lakhs |
RXL | Rs 5.78 lakhs |
RXL Easy-R | Rs 6.18 lakhs |
RXT | Rs 6.28 lakhs |
RXT Easy-R | Rs 6.68 lakhs |

At this price point, the Triber AMT has only one direct rival that is the Datsun Go Plus CVT. We have also done a spec comparison of Renault Triber AMT and Datsun Go CVT. Except for the transmission, Renault has made no changes in terms of features and practicality. The 5-speed AMT box is paired to a 1.0-litre Energy series petrol engine that produces 72 PS and 96 Nm of torque. There is also a 95 Hp, 1.0-litre Turbo petrol in the pipeline and we expect that to be launched soon.
The Triber AMT is featured-packed, offering features like a big 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple Car Play, digital instrument cluster, AC vents for all three rows, power-adjustable ORVMs, keyless entry and go, push-button start/stop, Easy fix and modular rear seats and a host of other features. In terms of safety, Triber offers 4 airbags, ABS, EBD, seatbelt reminders, speed sensing alarm and rear parking sensors.
