Under the hood, Renault uses a 1.0-litre naturally aspirated, three-cylinder motor for the Triber. This unit makes as much as 71 bhp with 91 Nm of peak torque. In real life driving conditions, this engine is sufficient for city driving but if you are planning to keep the car full with luggage loaded then the car runs out of breath.
It is being said that Renault is working on a more powerful unit for the Triber so it becomes an efficient car too. We are expecting a turbocharged 3-cylinder 1.0L motor or a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated four cylinder motor will also do good.
