  • Royal Enfield may soon give the Tripper Navigation pod to the Continental GT 650 & Interceptor 650
  • The brand has recently introduced several updates for the 650 twins

Recently, Royal Enfield released a number of new improvements for its Continental GT and Interceptor 650 models. Now in another update, the Tripper Navigation pod will supposedly be added to the 650 Twins soon. In contrast to the 650 Twins, the Super Meteor 650 is equipped with the Tripper pod as standard equipment. The brand has not made any formal statements regarding the addition of the new accessory to the 650 Twins.

Royal Enfield 650 Twins

The Royal Enfield Continental GT & Interceptor 650 has undergone many adjustments. The adoption of alloy wheels is one such significant improvement. The updated variants now come with brand-new 18-inch alloy wheels and tubeless tyres. Furthermore, an LED headlight unit is now fitted to the 650 Twins. A USB phone charging port is now additionally available. Additionally, the switchgear has been updated in the 2023 variant.

The addition of the Tripper navigation pod will be another boon for the customers. The existing twin-pod instrument console will accommodate the Tripper Navigation pod. In essence, it is a Bluetooth-enabled display that provides metrics for distance and direction.

Royal Enfield Interceptor 650

There are currently four new colour options for the Interceptor 650. These colours are Barcelona Blue, Black Pearl, Black Ray, and Cali Green. Additionally, Slipstream Blue & Apex Grey colour options for the Continental GT 650 are now available. However, the seat design has been altered to make both bikes more comfortable than before. According to RE, the rider seat is now more cushioned and will therefore provide more comfort when moving.

On the other hand, the engine is the same BS6 RDE-compliant component. Both models now have updated ECUs, which results in a slight increase in torque from the 648cc parallel-twin engine.
