Royal Enfield, in the Indian automotive market is now one of the most likeable brands. Earlier the brand just had Bullet fans but with the evolution of time and technology, RE introduced several updated models in its line-up. The company currently has Classic 350, Meteor 350, Himalayan, and 650 twins. However, in 2022 Royal Enfield is planning to launch several other upgraded models.
With the beginning of 2022, the company announced a hike in prices across its range. In the mid 2021, Royal Enfield re-launched the Classic 350 and the bike has now become costlier by Rs 3,300 across all its variants. Classic 350 now starts at Rs 1.87 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). Another 350cc cruiser, Meteor that was launched in 2020 had received a hike in prices in September 2021 however, the prices have been revised again and the bike now starts at Rs 2.01 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
One of the best cafe racers that are available in the market, Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 from Royal Enfield also gets a bit costlier. Prices for both the bikes have been increased by Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 depending on the colour you choose. Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 now starts at Rs 2.85 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi) and the Continental GT now starts at Rs 3.02 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Royal Enfield earlier was only known for its Bullet that has been available in the market since 1954. The bike since then has received several generation updates and has a good customer base till date. With the enhancement of technology, the company kept on introducing new and new variants.
Royal Enfield is currently targeting the youth. That said, it has started introducing powerful, comfortable cruisers that everyone wants to ride. The company is planning to introduce a 650cc Himalayan, Super Meteor and several other motorcycles that are expected to be launched this year.
