Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 ADV bike is soon going to debut globally. RE is testing the final phase of its ahead of its official debut. The recent spy shots have surfaced online showing that it'll get a long wheelbase when compared to the current Himalayan. Read all of the details known about it below.

Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 - Bigger & Better?
As seen in the latest spy shots, the upcoming Himalayan will get a bigger chassis. Additionally, it'll also get a longer wheelbase to accommodate the new 450cc engine. Meanwhile, the body dimensions of it will mimic the bigger ADV bikes. The latest spy shots showcase that the bike is almost production-ready. Also, it might not get a standard 21-inch of the front tyre. It might be possible that RE will debut it in various variants. One of the road-centric variants will get smaller tyres whilst the rally variant shall get the bigger tyre setup.
Apart from the new design. It'll also get some of the first-ever features for an RE. For example, it'll get a fully-digital instrument console, riding modes, & even cruise control is also expected. Meanwhile, LED lighting will be used on it with the headlight similar to the Super Meteor. Certainly, the bigger dimensions will lead to more weight on it but the new engine is expected to take care of it. RE has developed a 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It is expected to make a peak power output of around 40 bhp. We expect that RE will equip it with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper-assist clutch as well. Features like Bluetooth phone connectivity & navigation will also be standard on it.
Verdict
The upcoming RE Himalayan 450 will take on rivals that include KTM 390 Adventure & BMW G 310 GS. It'll also bring revolutionary changes to RE in terms of tech updates & engine as well. It is expected to debut globally by September 2023 while the launch of it in India might be possible by Diwali. We anticipate that its pricing will revolve around Rs 3 lakh.
