The Shotgun 650 features a classic design with a round headlight, bullet-style turn indicators, dual pea-shooter exhaust, and a unified single-piece seat. What sets it apart is its modular design, allowing it to effortlessly switch between three modes: a single-seater, a double-seater, and a luggage-carrying tourer.
Expect some modern upgrades for the Shotgun 650, including features like full LED lights, a side-stand cut-off for safety, and a semi-digital instrument display. This mirrors the setup seen in the Super Meteor 650, offering improved visibility and user-friendly functionalities.

The Royal Enfield Shotgun 650 packs a punch with its 648cc parallel-twin, oil-cooled engine. Delivering 46.40bhp at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm at 5,650rpm, this powerhouse is mated to a user-friendly six-speed gearbox. Ensuring a smooth ride, the motorcycle features USD front forks and dual rear shocks. When it comes to stopping power, the Shotgun 650 doesn't disappoint. Equipped with a single front and rear disc, complemented by dual-channel ABS, it ensures reliable braking performance. The bike cruises on a 100/90-18 tyre up front and a 150/70 R17 setup at the rear.
RE has designed the Shotgun 650 with a 13.8-litre fuel tank, and it weighs 240kg. The bike's ergonomics are optimized for comfort, with mid-set foot pegs and a low 795mm seat height. The tuned Showa suspension, 1465mm wheelbase, and low centre of gravity make it well-suited for navigating through traffic.
It's expected to have a price tag lower than the Super Meteor 650, which currently starts at Rs. 3.60 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). When it hits the market, it will compete with the Jawa 42 Bobber. Additionally, it will be in competition with its own family members, such as the Royal Enfield Meteor 650, Royal Enfield Continental GT 650, Upcoming Royal Enfield Scrambler 650, and Royal Enfield Interceptor 650.

The Shotgun 650's blend of classic aesthetics with modern elements and versatile design positions it as a promising choice for riders seeking a stylish and adaptable touring experience. Stay up to date with all the automotive news and updates by joining our 91Wheels Whatsapp Group today!
