One of the advantages that the Skoda Kushaq carries over the Hyundai is that of a turbo petrol engine. Yes, it is smaller but packs in both performance as well as fuel-efficient factors. The Kushaq comes with a 1.0L TSI motor that churns out 115 PS with 178 Nm of peak torque whereas the naturally aspirated, four-cylinder unit of Creta brings out 115 PS and 144 Nm of peak torque. If you are in the market to step up from the compact SUVs but still on a budget then you want something bigger in size. Clearly, Hyundai provides you with the same because it is longer, wider and even taller than the Skoda Kushaq. Even for long distances, Creta comes in handy as it provides an additional 48 litres of boot space. The only area where Skoda Kushaq excels then it is the longer wheelbase by 41 mm. We believe that even though Skoda Kushaq excels in fuel economy, wheelbase and features, Hyundai Creta E is the real deal here. The base variant priced at Rs 9.99 lakh gives the buyer a perspective that they are paying low but getting a bigger product.
