Skoda Kylaq Base-Spec Classic Variant Bookings Reopen On 27th Jan
Skoda will re-open bookings for the entry-level Classic variant of the Kylaq on January 27th. High demand led to a temporary halt in bookings for this popular trim. The Kylaq is offered in four variants: Classic, Signature, Signature+, and Prestige, with prices starting at Rs 7.89 lakh (ex-showroom). While the Classic variant comes equipped with essential safety features like LED lighting, 6 airbags, ESC, and rear parking sensors, it prioritizes affordability by omitting features like a touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, wireless charging, sunroof, and a few others that are present in the higher variants.
If you wish for more features, the higher-spec variant. offers a pretty well-loaded cabin with amenities like a segment-first powered co-driver seat. Powertrain
The Kylaq is powered by a spirited 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that delivers 113bhp of power and 178 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed automatic transmission. However, the entry-level Classic variant skips the automatic option and is exclusively offered with the 6-speed manual gearbox.
