Skoda Kylaq Club Members To Get These Extra Benefits
Skoda is set to reveal the full pricing of its smallest SUV, the Skoda Kylaq, in the Indian market on December 2nd. To attract early buyers, Skoda has introduced the Kylaq Club, offering exclusive benefits such as a reduced booking amount, priority booking access, and discounts on accessories. The official pricing for the Kylaq will be announced on the same day bookings open. The club members will be eligible for a 2-hour priority booking window along with a 25% less booking amount than usual. While this wasn't it, you also get a Rs. 2,000 discount on accessories that are over Rs. 10,000 as a part of the early bird access.
The Skoda Kylaq offers a range of comfort and convenience features, including ventilated front seats, automatic climate control, an electric sunroof, cruise control, paddle shifters, wireless smartphone connectivity, and wireless charging. In terms of safety, the Kylaq comes equipped with six airbags, brake disc wiping, ISOFIX child seat mounts, passenger airbag deactivation, and multi-collision braking. While the Kylaq doesn't offer an ADAS suite, it still provides a comprehensive package of safety features.

Powertrain Details
The Skoda Kylaq is powered by a 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine producing 113 hp and 178 Nm of torque. This engine is paired with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. While this powertrain is competitive with other sub-compact SUVs like the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and the Kia Sonet, it falls short of the more powerful turbo-petrol engine offered in the Mahindra XUV 3XO.
Verdict
The benefits and the exlusive offers for the Kylaq Club members is an aggresive approach by Skoda to kick-in the buying sentiment for those already eyeing the product. In a market that is home to a lengthy waiting time if the model generates enough craze, the priority booking window of 2 hours, in my opinion, is the biggest advantage that you can get if you opt for the early bird access.
