Suzuki Motorcycle India Rolls Out OBD-2B Compliant Avenis and Burgman with New Colour Options

Suzuki Avenis and Burgman: Suzuki Motorcycle India has taken a significant step toward eco-friendly mobility by making its entire scooter and motorcycle lineup OBD-2B compliant. Leading the charge are the newly updated Suzuki Avenis and the Burgman Street series, now adhering to the latest emission norms while offering fresh, stylish colour options. Suzuki Avenis

The Suzuki Avenis, known for its aggressive styling and sporty appeal, now comes in a striking new Special Edition colour scheme which includes Metallic Matte Black No. 2 / Matte Titanium Silver. This update significantly improves its street presence while maintaining its dynamic performance.

Powering the Avenis is a 124.3cc, single-cylinder, fuel-injected engine, delivering 8.7 PS of power at 6,750 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm. Suzuki's advanced Eco Performance (SEP) technology provides an efficient yet powerful ride. The updated Avenis is priced at Rs. 93,200 (ex-showroom Delhi), with the Special Edition available at Rs. 94,000.

Burgman Street EX

For fans of maxi-style scooters, the Burgman Street EX now comes in a brand-new Metallic Matte Stellar Blue shade. This definitely adds to its premium appeal. This luxurious scooter is equipped with Suzuki Eco Performance Alpha (SEP-1) engine technology, featuring Engine Auto Stop-Start (EASS) and a Silent Starter System for a refined riding experience. The Burgman's powerhouse is capable of generating 8.6 PS of power at 6,500 rpm and 10 Nm of torque at 5,500 rpm, the Burgman Street EX also boasts a wider 12-inch rear wheel for improved stability.

The Burgman Street EX is now available at Rs. 1,16,200 (ex-showroom Delhi), while the standard Burgman Street starts from Rs. 95,800 and comes in two variants: Standard Edition and Ride Connect.

Suzuki Motorcycle India's Managing Director, Mr. Kenichi Umeda, emphasized the brand's commitment to evolving customer needs and environmental sustainability. "The transition to OBD-2B compliance aligns with our goal of providing a cleaner, more efficient riding experience while introducing new styling options for enhanced customer satisfaction," he stated.
