The CNG-powered Altroz, a premium hatchback from Tata Motors, is about to be launched in the coming weeks. The company started taking bookings for the upcoming Altroz iCNG. Now, the brochure for the Altroz iCNG has leaked ahead of the debut, revealing the variants and feature specifics of the soon-to-be-released premium CNG hatchback. The upcoming Altroz CNG will be offered in six different configurations, three of which will have a sunroof.

Tata Altroz iCNG Variant Details
The upcoming Altroz iCNG will be offered in six variants: XE, XM+, XM+(S), XZ, XZ+, XZ+(S), and XZ+O(S). Three of these six variationsXM+(S), XZ+(S), and XZ+O(S)will include an electronic sunroof. This will be the first CNG hatchback with a sunroof.
In comparison to other versions, the base XE variant has less features but a 4-inch digital instrument cluster and standard safety measures are included. A 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, 4-speakers, steering-mounted controls, navigation, and electrically foldable and adjustable ORVMs, among other features, is included in the XM+ model. The XZ model additionally gets automatic climate control, mood lighting, a cooled glovebox, a reverse parking camera with guidelines, and two tweeters with speakers.
All the bells and whistles that are absent from the previous four variants will be included in the top-of-the-line XZ+ & XZ+O(S) variants. Along with other features, the XZ+(S) variant will have TPMS, Xpress cool AC, wireless charging, 4 tweeters, leather-wrapped steering, and a rear fog lamp. On the other hand, the XZ+O(S) variant adds an air purifier, iRA linked technology, and luxury leatherette seats over the XZ+(S) variant's features.

Tata Altroz iCNG Engine Specifications
A 1.2-liter bi-fuel petrol+CNG engine will power the upcoming Altroz iCNG. The engine is tuned differently from the 1.2-liter engine found in the Tiago and Tigor iCNG models. The Altroz iCNG will produce 72.5 bhp in CNG mode and 103 Nm of maximum torque, and 85 bhp and 113 Nm in petrol mode, respectively. A 5-speed manual gearbox will be paired with this powerplant.
Verdict: Comparing the new Altroz iCNG to other CNG hatchbacks in the market, it will be more feature-rich. Due to the concealed CNG tanks in the boot, the Altroz iCNG also has the benefit of giving boot space. The Altroz CNG is anticipated to cost Rs 70,00080,000 more than models with petrol engines.
