Tata Altroz Racer Spied Testing: Major Visual Upgrades
The upcoming Tata Altroz Racer boasts a striking new dual-tone color scheme that visually embarks on the sporty lane. A sleek black covers the roof, pillars, wing mirrors, rear spoiler, and bonnet, creating a dramatic contrast with the vibrant body paint, but that's not all. White racing stripes adorning the roof and hood further amplify the car's sporty character. The look is completed by a set of stylish blacked-out alloy wheels, adding another layer of athletic flair to the Altroz Racer Edition.
Although these aesthetics are not visible in the spy shots, thanks to the heavy camo, the Tata Altroz Racer was showcased in all its glory at the latest Auto Expo last year in January. Talking about the interiors, Altroz Racer Edition's cabin adopts a sporty and luxurious feel with a contrasting black and red theme. Racing stripes adorn the seats, further emphasized with red stitching on the seats and steering wheel. "Racer" badging on the headrests and red ambient lighting complete the sporty look.
Feature-wise, a large touchscreen infotainment system, 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, an electric sunroof, and more are expected. Safety remains a priority with 6 airbags, ESP, and a reverse camera, inheriting the Altroz's impressive 5-star Global NCAP rating.

Tata Altroz Racer: Powertrain
The Altroz Racer Edition gets its heart with a 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine under the hood. This enthusiastic mill is rumored to deliver 120hp and 170 Nm of torque, promising a spirited driving experience. A 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission (DCA) is a high possibility along with a manual gearbox.
Upon its launch, it will directly rival the Hyundai i20 N-Line and the Maruti Fronx turbo in the performance segment with an expected price of around Rs. 10 lakhs ex-showroom.
Verdict
The Tata Altroz Racer is finally towards its imminnet launch. While it will face off against the more punchy variants of its rivals, the Racer exudes a charm of its own. The visual appeal itself sets it apart, starting to project that sporty aura even before you set foor inside the cabin, making it a desirable product among the enthusiasts.
