Tata Motors Cars stole the spotlight at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025 by revealing the Tata Avinya Concept X on the first day of the grand event. This car now appears significantly different from the Avinya concept first shown at the Auto Expo of 2023. Earlier, it had a crossover-like body, but now it has grown into a fully luxurious SUV, which appears heavily inspired by the brand's subsidiary, Land Rover. More about this EV below. Tata Avinya Concept X
The new Tata Avinya shown here appears to be the vehicle we imagine the future of cars will look like. From no angle does it fail to awe-strike you, and the first thought that will hit your mind is that this might be in crores. Just focus on its face and observe the two LED lines coming together above the grille area and falling down to form the next generation of Tata logos. It didn't connect, but the message is very clear.
Also, there is no grille, rather hundreds of shred-like patterns that add a touch of premiumness. To add more, another set of LED DRLs arranged horizontally looks neat. If we talk about the side profile, again, it's neatly done, where you won't find sharp lines or edges, but rather a very minimalistic design, which is also the design philosophy of several Land Rover cars.
By going to the rear end, one will notice how it slides down just like any coupe, but this isn;t; it's just a design theme. At last, the rear profile, and I believe from the rear-side angle, there is a lot of Land Rover Velar in it. Then again, Tata applies the same styling to the rear with LED strips like the front and gave us a beautiful back. We cannot finish this piece on the Avinya without talking about its 22-inch rim design, which tells you about its EV nature. Clearly, these wheels from Pirelli are fabulous.
During its showcase, Tata did not provide us with any information regarding its battery pack, power, features, or anything else.

Verdict
Tata Motors didn't announce anything for this model, but its alluring design stole the show for us. The clear lines in such a sophisticated, luxurious design are what anyone would think of this product. Apart from that, Tata made headlines by bringing the Tata Sierra, Tata Harrier EV, and I think they will launch later this year. 2025 is the year of EVs, and our homegrown company is here to rock our world.
