Tata Curvv has been pretty successful in reshaping what the SUV mass market segment could offer with a sleek sedan look coupled with the SUV stance that the Indian market is in love with. Although just not very long after it made its debut in the market, reports suggest that it is all set to introduce 4 new variants by December this year. Let's look at everything that the new trims would probably offer, but before that, make sure you are a part of our 91Wheels Whatsapp Channel, specifically curated for all the avid petrolheads to never miss out on any automotive updates.

Tata Curvv New Variants Coming Soon
Tata Motors is gearing up to expand the Tata Curvv lineup with new variants, expected to be introduced by the end of 2024. While specific details are yet to be revealed, there are speculations about the potential introduction of CNG variants or Dark Edition versions for both the electric and ICE derivatives of the Curvv. This comes not very long after the Curvv was launched in both its EV and ICE guise.
The Tata Curvv is available in both ICE and electric variants. The ICE version is priced between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 18.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and offers three engine options: two turbo-petrol and one diesel. Transmission options include a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic. The electric Curvv, priced between Rs 17.49 lakh and Rs 21.99 lakh (ex-showroom), comes with two battery pack options: a 45 kWh pack offering a range of 430 km and a 55 kWh pack with a range of 530 km. As for the delivery timelines, the entry-level 1.2-liter petrol manual variant has the longest wait, exceeding three months. Other manual petrol variants typically take around two months, while automatic versions may take slightly longer, around three months.

The 1.2-liter turbo-petrol variants, available in higher trims, have similar waiting periods. Manual versions can be delivered in less than two months, while automatic versions may take around three months. Diesel variants, powered by a 1.5-liter turbo-diesel engine, also have varying wait times. The entry-level diesel manual variant has a wait of over two months, while other diesel manual variants may take a little over a month. All diesel automatic variants have a waiting period of around two months.
Verdict
Tata Curvv has proven to be a success and the demand generated continues to paint a better picture for the brand, and Tata Motors is looking to capitalise on its early traction and go all in with the new variants. While everything is said and done, a CNG trim is something that has done pretty well for Tata and that is the missing piece at the moment here although I am hopeful for its launch soon in near future.
