In a teaser video, Tata Motors has hinted that the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari will also get Kaziranga editions. The Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition will be debut at the IPL 2022.
UPDATE : Nexon Kaziranga to get cooled seats. To commemorate its association with the Indian Premier League (IPL), Tata Motors debuted the Punch Kaziranga Edition, a few days ago. This debut model will be later auctioned off at the IPL 2022 tournament. The proceedings from the auction will go towards protecting 2000 single-horned rhinoceros that remain in Kaziranga, Assam.
However, recently the Indian automaker has also released a teaser video that shows the Kaziranga editions of the Nexon, Harrier, and Safari. Not much has been revealed, aside from glimpses of a new paint scheme and the logo of a single-horned rhinoceros on the side, slotted between the ORVM and front windowpane. The teaser video also had the hashtag, #Untamed begins.

Registrations for the Tata Punch Kaziranga have already begun online via the companys website. This edition is based on the top of the line Creative trim which is priced at Rs. 8,68,900 (ex-showroom, Delhi) with the manual transmission, and Rs. 9,28,900 with the automatic transmission.
Speaking of which, the Tata Punch Kaziranga Edition will be powered by a 1.2-liter three-cylinder naturally aspirated engine that produces 85 bhp@6,000 RPM and 113 Nm of torque @ 3,300 RPM. At a press release Tata Motors said, Aggressive, capable, and beautiful, the new Punch Kaziranga is made for the untamed outdoors. It's an unstoppable force on rough terrains, backed by the equally tough build quality. It (Tata Punch Kaziranga) possesses the spirit of the wild. Its design impresses those who are hard to impress. Unrestrained from the outside, yet warm, inviting, and earthy from the inside."
When it comes to its interior, the Rhino logo makes it there too on the glove box. Aside from that, the rest of the car remains the same. Being a top-spec model, the Punch features a leather-wrapped steering wheel and gear knob. Tata Punch now also gets its own 7-inch infotainment system that gets both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Tatas range of SUVs is highly rated in safety, especially when it comes to its chassis torsional stiffness, rigidity, and stability. The Punch shares its underpinnings with Altrozs Alfa-ARC platform that was jointly developed by JLR and Tata Motors. Both the cars scored a full 5-star rating in the GNCAP crash test, which makes the Punch one of the safest SUVs in India.
