Just recently, Tata Motors production facility based in Gujarat rolls out 3,00,000th unit of Tiago making it the safest hatchback in its segment. Tata Tiago was launched in 2016 and over the years, the Indian carmaker has introduced several facelifts and special editions.
In 2020, Tata brought in the BS6 version of Tiago with the facelift and it looks menacing. It comes in a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder petrol motor which makes as much as 84 bhp with a peak torque of 113 Nm. Transmission option includes a standard 5-speed manual and an optional AMT unit.

Another important thing is that Tiago is the only safest hatchback in its segment to get a Global 4-star NCAP rating. The car competes with Maruti Swift, Hyundai Grand i10 Nios and even the Renault Triber. With the new-age features, it definitely offers first class safety to the passengers.
Safety features on the Tiago come with dual airbags, ABS with EBD, corner stability control, rear parking sensors and a lot more. Feature-wise, the Tiago gets a touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, steering mounted controls, automatic climate control, tilt steering wheel, cooled glove box and among others.

The prices of Tata Tiago starts from Rs 4.68 lakh and go up till Rs 6.72 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Tata offers a standard warranty of 2 years or 75,000 km whichever is at the earliest but you can extend it according to your taste in the vehicle.
