Tata Motors has once again hiked the prices of their popular EV models, Tigor EV and Nexon EV. Both the models are now more expensive by Rs 25,000 than before. The carmaker also launched Nexon EV Max recently with more features, bigger battery capacity and more range.

Powering the Tigor EV is a 26 kWh battery pack that gets an ARAI certified driving range of 306 km. This motor pumps out 74 bhp of power on tap with a peak torque of 170 Nm. The top speed is limited to 120 kmph with 0-100 kmph in 12.63 seconds.

Powering the Tata Nexon EV is a bigger 30.2 kWh battery pack that generates 127 bhp of power with 245 Nm of peak torque. The certified driving range sticks to 312 km while 0-100 kmph sprint is well achieved in under 10 seconds.
Currently, Tata Motors has three products in their EV line-up - Tigor EV, Nexon EV and Nexon EV Max. The latter got launched recently and it is priced from Rs 17.74 lakh to Rs 19.24 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. When compared with the Nexon EV, this EV Max gets a bigger 40.5 kWh battery pack that now belts out 142 bhp of power with 245 Nm of peak torque.

This battery pack can be charged via two AC chargers - 3.3kW that are available as standard and with a premium of Rs 50,000, the 7.2kW charger juices the battery to 100% in just 6.5 hours. This model can also be charged via DC fast charger in just 56 minutes.
