Mahindra is all set to bring the XUV400 EV to the Indian market soon and we expect it to be available with two battery set-ups! Read to know more about this upcoming electric SUV!
Mahindra is all set for the launch of the XUV400 EV that will rival the likes of Tata Nexon EV, MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. The launch will take place on Sept 8, 2022, and the SUV will be longer than 4 metres, unlike the XUV300 that is sold in the Indian market under the 4m length.
Mahindra XUV400 EV Design
Design-wise, the XUV400 EV will remain similar to the XUV300 except for some changes. Do expect an all-new headlight design with LED daytime running lights, tweaked bumper set-up with revised fog light housing, new alloy wheels set-up, body cladding and more. At the rear, there will be changes to the taillight design as well as the tailgate.

Mahindra XUV400 EV Battery
As of now, there's no input from the Indian carmaker regarding the battery packs but we do expect them to be available in short range and long range. A 400 km of driving range and 150 hp of power can be expected from the long-range battery pack.
Mahindra XUV400 Features
Feature-wise, the eSUV will be equipped with a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features like dual-zone climate control, an electric sunroof, LED headlights, LED taillights, Adreno X system can be expected.
Mahindra XUV400 Safety Equipment and Battery Warranty
Multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, front and rear parking sensors, all-wheel disc brakes, hill hold control, traction control, hill descent control and more will be some of the features that will be seen in the upcoming EV. Like other EVs, we also expect that the Li-Ion battery pack will be offered with an 8years/1,60,000 km warranty, whichever is at the earliest. We expect the price of the upcoming XUV400 EV to stick between Rs 14 lakh to Rs 19 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
