The Tata Safari is currently the most expensive SUV in the brand's line-up and boasts an attractive design in addition to a premium, comfortable, and feature-rich cabin. The SUV directly takes on the rivals like the Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus, and the upcoming Kia Carens. Shortly after announcing a price hike for the cars like the Tiago and the Altroz, the Indian carmaker has now increased the prices of the automatic variants of the Safari. Here are all the details that you should check about the new Tata Safari automatic price list.
The prices of the automatic variants of the Tata Safari are now up by up to INR 7,000 in India. To start with, the Safari is available in six trim options - XE, XM, XT, XT Plus, XZ, and XZ Plus. While the price of the manual variants remain unchanged, the carmaker has made no changes to the features list of any of the trim options despite increasing the price tag of the automatic variants. The XTA Plus variant gets the maximum price hike of INR 7,000 while the XMA and the XZA are now costlier by INR 3,000.

The other automatic variants, XZA Plus, XZA Plus 6-Seater, XZA Plus Adventure 6-seater, XZA Plus Adventure, XZA Plus Gold, and XZA Plus Gold 6-Seater, get a standard price hike of INR 2,000. The latest price hike comes after the brand had earlier increased the prices of the Tiago, Tigor, Nexon, and the Altroz earlier this month. The manual variants continue to be offered at the same price and the buyers can also opt for the optional two special edition models - Adventure, and Gold.
