One of the leading carmakers, Tata Motors announced the launch of the Safari Dark Edition at Rs 19.05 lakhs (ex-showroom, Delhi). The flagship SUV is now a part of the #DARK range and the company has also commenced with its bookings. This new edition is available in XT+, XZ+, XZ+ 6 Seater, XTA+, XZA+ and XZA+ 6 Seater versions. The premium that customers have to pay over the regular colour is upwards of Rs 20,000 depending on the variant you pick.
The SUV looks more aggressive in this all-new Oberon Black shade. The alloy-wheels, mascots on the front fender and the tailgate are now painted in a new shade that looks better than the existing black shade. Inside the cabin, it gets an all black theme that comes with a premium Dark upholstery in Nappa Granite Black color theme with a Blackstone Dark themed dashboard.
The Tata Safari #Dark will get some additional exclusive features like ventilated front and second-row seats, wireless compatible AndroidAuto and Apple CarPlay, and an air purifier with its XT+/XTA+ and XZ+/XZA+ trims. Other than this the list of features, creature comforts, and other safety features remains unchanged.
Tata is already floating with its Dark Edition fans and with this launch, the company is hoping for a good show. In just six-months, Tata Safari is already owned by 16K happy customers and 10K are about to roll out soon. At the time of IPL, the company had launched Gold Edition of Safari which also received a good response from the market.

The Harrier #DARK, which was launched as a limited edition product initially, did extremely well and on popular customer demand, became an integral part of the Harrier portfolio. It offered an exciting & unique package to the customers, which further extended with the introduction of the #DARK range. Tata has not made changes to its specifications and dimensions. The Dark Edition Safari is also powered by the same 2.0-litre turbocharged diesel engine that can churn out 170PS of maximum power and 350 Nm of peak torque mated to a six-speed manual and a six-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
