Tata Motors launched the all-new Tata Safari seven-seater SUV in February this year. The new Tata Safari is now the company's flagship vehicle in the Indian line-up and it has received phenomenal response from buyers. Ever since the new Safari has been launched in India, it has been garnering good sales numbers for the company and is in high demand. In fact, Tata Motors has produced more than three units of Tata Safari SUVs every hour in the last four months to cater to the demands of the customers. We explain how.
Tata Motors has today rolled out the 10,000th unit of the all-new Tata Safari seven-seater SUV from its manufacturing facility in Pune. The company in its official press release says that the first 100 units of the new Safari were rolled out in February 2021. However, due to the second wave of the COVID pandemic and the subsequent restrictions, the last 9,900 units of the Safari were rolled out in less than four months. This means Tata Motors produced 9,900 units of Safari in the last 120 days, which translates to 82.5 cars a day and 3.43 cars an hour. So, Tata Motors has manufactured more than three units of the Safari in the last four months and achieved a remarkable feat.
