When Tata brought in the prices of the Nexon EV at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) then everyone was shocked as it came into existence as the most affordable electric SUV after the MG ZS EV and Hyundai Kona EV. Few months down the line, the deliveries of the Tata Nexon EV has also started.
Customers have started taking the deliveries of the Nexon EV across various Tata dealerships. To share more about the motor present then it is a 30.2 kWh battery pack which is capable of churning 129 PS of power with a peak torque of 245 Nm. Yes, only a single-speed automatic transmission is present for the same.
This battery also supports fast charging which means in a matter of less than 60 minutes, 0-80% of the battery can be juiced up. Else, there is also an option of 15A plug point charger and 20% to 100% of the battery can be charged up in 8 hours.

Tata claims an official drive range of the Nexon EV is 300+ kilometres which is impressive as the Indian carmaker provides similar driving range at a much lower cost. MG ZS EV gets a similar 300+ kilometres range but at a much premium price.
In terms of features then Nexon EV is equipped with a larger 7.0-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system which gets connectivity features like Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It further receives automatic climate control, keyless entry, push-button start and among others.

Safety features on this electric SUV stick to dual airbags, Antilock Braking System with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution, ISOFIX mount child seats, Rear Parking Sensors, High-speed alert system, Front Seat Belt Reminders and among others. Tata also provides an 8 years/1,60,000 km warranty on the battery pack.
