The vehicles will retain their existing set of features, with no modifications to the feature list. The Tiago iCNG AMT will be offered in three variants XTA CNG, XZA+ CNG, and XZA NRG, while the Tigor iCNG AMT will come in two variants XZA CNG and XZA+ CNG.
Tata Tiago & Tigor CNG Engine Specifications
Presently, the Tata Tiago & Tigor iCNG boasts a power output of 73.5bhp and a torque of 95Nm, and it is exclusively offered with a five-speed manual transmission. We don't expect any alterations in the power and torque specifications for the AMT variants.
Verdict
The upcoming AMT variants of the Tata Tiago & Tigor iCNG are poised to significantly boost the demand for both vehicles. Currently, CNG car buyers have to choose manual transmission, and the introduction of AMT will provide them with a more convenient driving experience. We anticipate the CNG AMT variants to be priced Rs 60,000 to 75,000 higher than the MT variants. Equipped with the AMT gearbox, the Tiago iCNG is expected to present stiff competition to the Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG and the Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS CNG. Similarly, the Tigor iCNG AMT is anticipated to pose a strong challenge to the Hyundai Aura CNG and Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG.
