The Tata Tiago is one of the highest-selling vehicles in the segment and comes with great build quality in addition to a comfortable cabin. The brand launched the facelift version of the car with the updated design language and a better cabin. As per the reports which surfaced online, the car was recently spotted while being tested with a turbo petrol engine. The test mule was spotted in Coimbatore and is expected to feature a turbocharged 1.2-L petrol engine. The power output from this car is expected to be around 100 Ps, which will make it fairly powerful. The brand is also said to be working on introducing a new turbocharged petrol engine in the Altroz. The car may also feature an all-new DCT gearbox. We expect the Tata Tiago turbo petrol to feature the same engine in a similar state of tune.

Currently, the Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2-L 3-cylinder petrol engine that churns out 86 Ps and 113 Nm of peak torque power output. This engine comes mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and an optional 5-speed AMT. It is worth noting that the Tata Tiago turbo petrol to come with a similar chassis and suspension setup. It is also worth noting the fact that the Tiago JTP also featured a 1.2-L Revotron turbo petrol that churned out 112 bhp and 150 Nm of max torque.
Currently, the car is priced from Rs 4.69 lakh for the base variant while the range-topping variant is priced at Rs 6.73 lakh.
