Tata recently rejigged the XT variant of its popular entry-level hatchback, Tiago and now the carmaker has also brought in the Rhythm pack of the same. This Rhythm pack of the Tiago is based on the XT variant and carries a price tag of Rs 6.45 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
When compared with the regular XT version, this XT Rhythm version is Rs 30,000 expensive but carries some necessary features. It now gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
It now also gets two tweeters to compliment the existing four speakers, a reverse camera with dynamic guidelines, voice command with image and video playback. Other than this, everything remains the same in the XT Rhythm variant.

Mechanically, Tata Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This is the same engine used in Tata Punch as well as Altroz too. It generates 84 bhp of power with a peak torque of 113 Nm. A 5-speed manual transmission as standard and a five-speed AMT unit as an option is observed in the Tiago.
In other news, Tata is gearing up for the launch of facelifted versions of Harrier as well as the flagship SUV, Safari. The Indian carmaker will be updating the design and bringing in new features to compete with its rivals. Features such as a 360-degree camera, ventilated seats and even ADAS are expected to come.

The long-awaited 1.5L turbo petrol motor too is expected to come and the expected power figures will stick to 150 bhp. We expect this gearbox to be mated to a 6-speed manual as standard and a 6-speed torque converter as an option once it is launched in the Indian market.
