We have often covered stories about power-packed sedans, modified whips, heck we even gave you examples of the five most powerful Skoda Octavia RS models. However, we take things differently this time and present to you your daily driven Skoda petrol. Oh, my bad, the discontinued Skoda Octavia petrol which now makes 339 bhp under the hood. You can also join our Skoda Whatsapp group where we talk about Skoda Cars
Yes, the mammoth Octavia petrol which makes more power than the recently launched Skoda RS245. Let's talk about the stock figures of this car - It gets a 1.8-litre turbocharged petrol engine with slick shift 7-speed DSG gearbox. The power figures come at 178 bhp with 250 Nm of peak torque.
Now, coming to this modified whip, it now makes 339 bhp with a massive 449 Nm of peak torque. Boy, it pulls, it pulls good! Sharing details on the mod then it gets a Code6 Stage 3 TVS Engineering ECU Tune along with the Stage 3 TCU tune (with launch control). Sometimes you do not need both but they both help each other. You will not need a TCU tune unless you opt for the ECU tune at first!

Furthermore, to cool off that air from the turbocharger unit, it gets Wagner Tuning Competition Intercooler. And sees an IHI 38 turbo upgrade along with Audi RS7 spark plugs and Audi RS3 Coil pack. It also receives Miltek Decat cast downpipe with custom non resonated mid-pipe and Borla bullet exhaust muffler. Now, you see why that modified Octavia Petrol 1.8L TSI is loud'.
This one also gets a Racingline R600 performance intake system with an updated DQ200 7-speed dry clutch from TMG Performance. With this great power comes braking responsibility and thus this one gets EBC brakes along with yellow stuff brake pads.
It further gets Forge motorsport turbo inlet pipe, APR turbo muffler delete with CTS turbo blow off valve. To further reduce the carbon build-up and concentrations of acids, oxidants and water within the engine oil, this one comes with ECS Tuning oil catch can! Also, it gets Amsoil Performance oils and fluids which maintain the high-performance output for this advanced transmission.
That was all about the performance upgrades. From outside, this one just looks like your normal Octavia which is in fact a SLEEPER. To further improve the driveability and maintain the composure at high speeds and cornering, it gets Eibach Pro-kit lowering springs with Eibach pro-kit wheel spacers.
