MG Motor India is all set to bring Hector facelift in the country soon. The launch is expected during the festive season and the SUV does carry some USPs, one being the biggest touchscreen infotainment system in the segment. Ahead of its official launch, the company has teased the interior of the 2022 MG Hector facelift and we explain everything it gets with these clear images.
The interior of the MG Hector facelift follows a two-tone colour scheme of oak white and black. The all-new dashboard layout really stands out along with the re-positioned AC vents. It also gets piano black and faux brushed aluminium bits that give a premium touch to the SUV.
MG Hector facelift now also boasts a larger 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system. It is the biggest in the segment and it supports wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include a 7.0-inch fully digital configurable cluster, an electronic parking brake, a push start/stop button and more.

We can also expect Level-2 ADAS with the Hector facelift. If so then MG will be the only mass-market carmaker in the country to provide ADAS in four of its cars namely, Astor, ZS EV, Gloster and the Hector facelift.
Like the interior, the exterior too of the Hector facelift will be different from the current version. On the front, it will now have an aggressive U-shaped chrome studded grille that joins with the LED daytime running lights. Moreover, the SUV gets a faux skid plate which gives it a sporty appeal and a tweaked fog light housing. We can also expect a new alloy wheel design and a slight change to the rear design.
Mechanically, Hector facelift will get the same engine options as before and those are - 1.5L turbo petrol, 1.5L hybrid petrol and 2.0-litre diesel. As per reports, MG is considering selling the current Hector alongside the facelifted model too.

We expect the price of the upcoming SUV to be between Rs 16 lakh to Rs 23 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched, it will rival the likes of Mahindra XUV700 5-seater, Tata Harrier, Mahindra Scorpio N, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos and some variants of the upcoming Maruti Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
