Please note that this white colour of the Skoda Kushaq has been spied globally but we expect it to receive a similar treatment when it gets launched in June this year. The sales of the Kushaq will happen in July afterwards.

Variants and Colour Options
The upcoming SUV is reserved with three variants only - Active, Ambition and Style. The colour options include - Candy White, Metallic Carbon Steel and Metallic Reflex Silver. Another two colours Honey Orange and Tornado Red are reserved for the Indian market only.
Speaking on the design of the upcoming SUV then it retains most of it from the VISION IN which was showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo. It comes with a conventional yet unique design. At the front, the butterfly styled grille with chrome surround, all-LED headlights followed by integrated LED daytime running lights.
At the bottom part, we can see the fog light housing along with an aluminium skid plate. This faux-brushed aluminium skid plate is observed at the rear also which gives it a sporty appeal. The side profile is flanked by 17-inch alloy wheels for the higher variant while the lower and mid-variant will come with 16-inch wheels.
Engine Options
The Kushaq will miss out on the diesel engine but makes up with two TSI petrol motor. The smaller 1.0L is the same as the Rapid but now generates more power of 115 PS with 175 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5L TSI churns out 150 PS with 250 Nm of peak torque. While a 6-speed manual transmission is set as a standard for both motor, the 1.0L TSI also gets an optional 6-speed torque converter while the 1.5L TSI gets 7-speed DSG.

Price and Rivals
As of now, the price of the SUV has not been announced but we expect it to priced between Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 15.57 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Once launched in June, the Kushaq will rival Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Nissan Kicks, Renault Duster and it's cousin, Volkswagen Taigun.
