Three New Honda SUVs by 2026-27: Details!
It is safe to say that all three upcoming SUVs will feature electrification of some kind, with the Elevate-based EV being one of them. As for the other two upcoming SUVs, we can expect at least one of them, or even both of them to feature strong-hybrid technology.
The car maker has confirmed that it will be focusing on hybrid technology as well as fully-electric vehicles. However, a strong-hybrid Elevate is less likely to happen, as it was ruled out by Honda last year. The Elevate-based EV, which is currently said to be under development, and is expected to be launched in 2025. It will then be joined by two more SUVs, which are expected to arrive during the 2026-27 financial year.
Details about the upcoming Elevate-based EV remain under very tight wraps for now. However, much like the combustion-powered Elevate, the upcoming electric SUV will also be manufactured in India and exported to key Asian markets.

Verdict
Honda is probably missing the bus once again by taking a lot of time in developing new EVs and hybrid cars. The Elevate took its own sweet time to come, and by the time the new-gen electrified SUVs from Honda arrive, the competition will already have moved on and will be at a huge advantage. Let's see and wait how things unfold on this front.
