Toyota Hyryder: Under The Hood
Featuring a 1.5-liter petrol engine generating 91bhp and 122Nm of torque, paired with an e-drive transmission, it combines with a potent 79bhp/141Nm electric motor to produce a total output of 114bhp. This hybrid setup also includes an all-electric mode, enhancing fuel efficiency.
On the other hand, the Neo Drive version is powered by Suzuki's 1.5-liter K-series petrol engine, delivering 102bhp and 136Nm of torque, with Integrated Starter Generator (ISG) technology for efficiency. Additionally, there's a CNG variant available with the 1.5L K-series engine for interested buyers.
Verdict
The Hyryder is nothing but Maruti Grand Vitara in a differently styled bodyshell. The silver lining here is that the waiting period is now on the shorter side when compared to last month. However, do not mistake it as a short timeline as you still need to wait at least 4 months to take home a Hyryder.
