The Toyota Innova moniker is a household name in India when it comes to big family movers. While it has been around for a long time, it has evolved substantially ever since. And even when there are plenty on the roads, the Toyota Innova Crysta keeps on finding more and more buyers every day, and so are the piling-up months of waiting.
Let's check out the waiting time on the Innova Crysta and more details
Toyota Innova Crysta Waiting Period
Toyota has built up the Innova brand name over a period of time. And while it also has the Innova Hycross in its portfolio, Crysta still gets the same demand and is currently standing at a waiting period of up to 6 months. A big reason for this is the availability of a diesel powertrain, which is a miss on the Innova Hycross. Simultaneously, if you want a petrol Innova, then the Crysta isn't the option for you as it exclusively runs on a diesel mill. In short, Hycross deals with petrol and petrol-hybrid engines, whereas the Cryta carries the oil burner.
However, this timeline depends on the variant you choose and the location as well. We suggest you visit your nearest dealership for the exact time period according to your preferences.

Powertrain
The Innova Crysta comes with a 2.4-liter diesel engine, which is mated exclusively to a 5-speed manual transmission. This engine is finely tuned to generate an output of 148bhp and a peak torque of 343Nm. The vehicle comes in a variety of five colors: Super White, Attitude Mica Black, Platinum White Pearl, Avant-Garde Bronze Metallic, and Silver Metallic. However, as stated earlier, if you are looking for a petrol Innova, Innova Hycross is the one you will have to go for.

Verdict
The MPV enjoys a loyal fanbase on such levels, where a section of buyers trade in their older Innova for a new one. A reliable and refined engine, easy maintainence, plus a comfortable and spacious ride. That's how the Toyota has managed to keep their customers coming back. While the waiting time is something that the auto industry is struggling with, it will be interesting to see how they cope up with this in future.
