Hyundai Alcazar Facelift: Design & Features
As visible in the spy photos, the facelifted model will get a revamped fascia and a new rear profile. The partially visible LED DRLs showcase that it'll get a different design than the new Creta. Moreover, the front will include a new grille, a new bumper, and different LED headlights. The side profile looks identical to the current model, apart from the new dual-tone alloy wheels. Additionally, the rear profile will get a new boot lid along with a new connected LED taillight setup.
On the interiors, the cabin of Alcazar facelift will look like an evolved version of the current Creta. We assume that it'll get a new dashboard design with a connected dual-screen setup, similar to the new Creta. Additionally, the Alcazar will continue offering the captain seats for the second-row and third-row passengers. However, the space on the inside is likely to remain unchanged due to an unchanged chassis. The new safety features on the Alcazar will include ADAS level 2, blind-spot monitoring, and front collision avoidance systems.
Powering the Alcazar will be the same engine option as the current model. Hyundai is unlikely to change the drivetrains or the gearbox options. But, we expect that the suspension setup and handling will improve on the new model. The launch of Alcazar facelift is expected in September and the pricing will be increased due to the addition of new safety features. The current competitors of Alcazar include the Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus, and Mahindra XUV700.
