Mahindra is all set to unveil its XUV 3XO on 29 April, and the brand is set to bring many changes to the vehicle. According to reports, some dealers have already started booking the upcoming XUV 3XO unofficially. Interested customers can book the SUV by paying Rs 21,000 booking amount. Mahindra XUV 3XO
The upcoming XUV 3XO will be the facelift of the XUV 300 with a new name. The brand has changed the front fascia of the facelift by giving it a new headlamp assembly and a new L-shaped LED DRL, the side profile will get a new design for alloy wheels, and the rear profile will get a new C-shaped tail lamp with an LED light bar.
On the inside, it will get a new 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment unit, a new steering wheel will most likely make a debut, a digital instrument cluster, a segment-first panoramic sunroof, a new HVAC control panel, wireless charging, and ventilated seats among other features.
The XUV 3XO is also expected to get a level 2 ADAS safety suit which will be another segment's first feature for the SUV. Along with ADAS, the SUV is expected to get a 360-degree camera, 6 airbags, and all four disc brakes among other safety features.
Mahindra XUV 3XO Engine
The 3XO will get the same engine options as the current XUV300, including a 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine with a 6-speed manual and an AMT unit. A 1.5-litre diesel engine with a 6-speed manual and AMT unit. At last, the 1.2-litre tGDI petrol engine with a manual transmission.
Verdict
The upcoming Mahindra XUV 3XO will be a significant launch for Mahindra in the Indian market. It will replace the XUV300 SUV and will become Mahindra's identity in the sub-4 metre market. It will compete with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, KIA Sonet and other sub-4 metre SUVs.
