Upcoming Mahindra XUV300 W6 Spotted With Twin Peaks Logo - Details

Mahindra XUV300 is one of the most underrated compact SUVs in the segment. Yes, the interior looks a bit dated, still, the carmaker brings in new updates to keep the SUV fresh with rivals. Reports also suggest that they are readying for the XUV300 Turbo Sportz Petrol which will be quite powerful in its segment. However, even before that is launched, Mahindra is gearing up to introduce the twin-peaks logo with the XUV300. This new-age logo was first seen in XUV700, followed by Scorpio N and Scorpio Classic.

Mechanically, Mahindra XUV300 is available in two engine options - 1.5L diesel and 1.2L turbo petrol. The former generates 114 bhp of power with a peak torque of 300 Nm. The peak torque is the highest in the segment. This oil burner delivers an ARAI-certified fuel economy of 20 kmpl.

Both the petrol as well as diesel engine gets mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard and AMT as an option.

Safety equipment on this variant includes all-wheel disc brakes, ABS with EBD, dual-front airbags, a high-speed alert system, front seat-belt reminder, reverse parking sensors and more. The XUV300 is the safest compact SUV in the segment that has scored 5-stars at the Global NCAP crash test rating.

Mahindra XUV300 is priced from Rs 8.41 lakh to Rs 14.07 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. We believe that with the introduction of the new twin-peaks logo, there will be addition or deletion of features and the price is expected to see a certain amount of hike.
