Skoda Compact SUV: What Do We Know So Far?
The upcoming SUV by Skoda is going to be a compact version of the Kushaq. It will be shorter than the 4-meter mark length-wise, and the design will be identical to the sibling models. Multiple test mules have already been spotted of this SUV, showcasing the edgy design with clean body lines. When the official announcement was made about this SUV earlier this year, Skoda also revealed that its name will be based on the letter 'K'. Now, the official name announcement will be done on August 21, as per Skoda.
This new SUV is going to target the most sales-driven C-SUV segment. It will rival the Tata Nexon, Hyundai Exter, Kia Sonet, and Maruti Brezza. While the launch timeline of this SUV is by March 2025, details such as a new dashboard with a big infotainment screen, sunroof, and other features, have already leaked online. Additionally, Skoda will power it with the tried and tested 1.0-litre TSI petrol engine. It will be offered with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options. The estimated pricing of the upcoming Skoda C-SUV will be Rs 8-12 lakh.

Skoda's approach towards the Indian market has changed recently. In a recent interview, Skoda officials also accepted that they've taken a wrong approach till now.
