The upcoming Tata Altroz EV has been spotted on Indian roads and we wonder if this is the electric car that will be unveiled on April 29 by the Indian carmaker. It is because of its missing tailpipe that we were able to take into account that it is the electric version of the Altroz.
Design-wise, like the Nexon EV and Tigor EV, the upcoming Altroz electric too will get blue inserts like its siblings, different alloy wheels design and we expect the signature teal blue colour to be a new addition too. Similarly, on the inside, it'll most likely to retain the design as the ICE model but do expect EV badging on the dashboard and contrast blue stitching on the seats and dashboard.

Tata Altroz EV will be powered by the Ziptron technology, the same as Nexon EV and Tigor EV. We expect that upon its launch, it'll get a 30.2kWh battery pack that churns out as much as 127 bhp of power on tap and gets 312 km of driving range. Mind you, this battery pack and specs are of the current Nexon EV. Tata is working to bring an updated battery pack for the Nexon EV that'll deliver more driving range and is expected to reduce the charging time.
Feature-wise, we do expect the same 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Other features include wireless charging pad, keyless entry, push button start/stop, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control and more.
