2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 - New Front Design
This major update includes the introduction of a new headlight. The new LED headlight has revised styling with sharp LED DRLs. This setup has enhanced the overall looks and appeal of the naked sports bike. However, the body design and graphics with the paint job remain the same.
Connected Technology
Bajaj has now introduced a negative LCD instrument console on the Pulsar NS160. This digital console offers multiple info on the go to the rider. Additionally, the users can connect their phones via Bluetooth and access SMS/call alerts along with the phone battery health indicator. Other key features of this console include trip meters, fuel economy updates, and more.
Bajaj Pulsar NS160 - Engine and Transmission
As this is just a mid-life update, the engine used on the NS160 is still the same. The E20-compliant 160.3cc single-cylinder engine develops a peak power of 17.03 bhp and a peak torque of 14.6 Nm. This engine is mated to a slick 5-speed transmission. The NS160 doesn't come equipped with a slipper clutch.
Features and Hardware
In terms of features, the new Bajaj Pulsar NS160 gets a new headlight and a digital instrument console. However, the other features remain the same. It gets a split seat design, 17-inch alloy wheels, USD front suspension, adjustable rear monoshock suspension, LED taillights, and more. Bajaj has kept the bike unchanged in the hardware department by using the cycle parts.
Price and Rivals
The new 2024 Bajaj Pulsar NS160 is priced at Rs 1.46 lakh (ex-showroom) pan India. It primarily rivals with the Hero Xtreme 160R 4V and the TVS Apache RTR 160 4V.
Verdict
The latest update on the Pulsar NS160 is to make it more desirable among the new customers. The overall design of the NS series bikes has started to feel old but this update will keep the baton going on until the big update drops from Bajaj.
