Volkswagen India has revealed some new products for the Indian market at their 2024 Annual Conference. The brand has showcased the Virtus GT Plus Sport variant which is expected to be launched in the Indian market by the end of this year. Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport - Exterior & Interior
The newly unveiled Virtus GT Plus Sport boasts some exterior and interior changes to make it different from regular editions. On the exterior, It boasts a black glossy front grille, signature trapezoidal wing, and diffuser, darkened LED headlamps, carbon steel grey roff, red GT badging on the grille, fender, and rear, dark chrome door handles, 16-inch razor black alloy wheels, front, side and rear under spoiler in black, among other highlights.
On the inside, it gets black leatherette seats with grey stitching, black headliner, glossy black dashboard theme, sport steering wheel with grey stitching, red accent on the steering wheel with GT insert, black styled grab handles, sun visor, and roof lamp housing. The GT Plus version also gets aluminum pedals.

Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport - Engine
The newly unveiled GT Plus Sport will be powered by a 1.5-litre TSI turbo petrol engine. This engine generates 148 bhp or 150PS of power and 250 Nm of torque. This variant will be equipped with the 7-speed DSG gearbox.
Verdict
The newly unveiled Volkswagen Virtus GT Plus Sport variant offers more appealing and sporty appeal with some red and black highlights. The brand has not revealed the pricing and launch timeline but it is anticipated to be launched later this year. This will continue to compete with the Hyundai Verna and Skoda Slavia.
