Volkswagen will be launching the all-new Virtus sedan in the Indian market on 9th June 2022. The Volkswagen Virtus sedan will be the second car to be launched under the brand's India 2.0 strategy and is based on the made for India MQB AO-IN platform. Once launched in India, the car will take on the rivals like Honda City, Skoda Slavia, Hyundai Verna, Maruti Suzuki Ciaz, etc. Here are all the details that you should check out.
For starters, the new VW Virtus will be offered with two engine options - 1.0-L TSI and 1.5-L TSI petrol engine. These engines will be offered with manual as well as automatic transmission options. Having said this, the performance offered by both these motors will be impressive and so are the refinement and fuel efficiency offered. The dynamics too are expected to be great and in all, the VW Virtus will definitely be a great choice for anyone looking for a powerful and fun to drive sedan.

On the design front, the VW Virtus boasts an elegant and premium design that helps it boast a strong road presence. The front LED headlights and a large chrome grille dominate the front fascia while the side profile might remind you of the more expensive German sedans. The buyers will also get dual-cut alloy wheels on the higher trims. The rear profile on the other hand looks elegant while you will appreciate LED taillights and subtle bumper design.
Inside, the Virtus will be offering a spacious and premium cabin with impressive quality levels. The dashboard layout looks premium and the car is offered with a long list of features on offer. These include a large sunroof, push-button start, automatic climate control, wireless chargers, power operated ORVMs, auto-dimming IRVMs, etc.
