Volkswagen Virtus Sedan - Things You Should Know About VW New Sedan

Volkswagen has taken the cover of its global sedan, the all-new Virtus. The Volkswagen Virtus has a sleek body shape, limousine-like design, and a plethora of exterior and interior features. The sedan is built under VW Group's India 2.0 strategy and shares the brand's MQB-A0-IN platform. The Skoda Slavia, which was launched last week, is similarly built on the MQB platform. In this post, we'll look at a few essential features of the recently released VW car.

1.5-Litre TSI Engine

Engine

The VW Virtus comes with two turbo-petrol motors, one of which is a modest 1.0-litre TSI motor that produces 114 bhp power with a peak torque of 178 Nm. This engine is mated with a six-speed manual transmission as standard, with the option of a six-speed automatic transmission.

This engine comes standard with a six-speed manual transmission, although a seven-speed DSG gearbox is available as an option. The TSI EVO technology gives additional power on demand while remaining as efficient as possible. In addition, the engine features active cylinder cut-off technology.
