Volkswagen India has introduced two new editions in its Indian lineup, named the Virtus Sound Edition and Taigun Sound Edition. The Virtus Sound Edition is priced at Rs 15.52 lakh (ex-showroom), while the Taigun Sound Edition comes with a price tag of Rs 16.33 lakh (ex-showroom). These editions, based on the top-spec Topline variant, are offered in four color options. It's worth noting that the Sound Edition will be available in limited numbers.

Volkswagen Virtus Sound Edition
True to its name, the Virtus Sound Edition showcases an upgraded audio system comprising a 7-speaker setup, a subwoofer, and an amplifier. Launched on the Topline trim of the sedan, this edition is offered in four color options: Rising Blue, Wild Cherry Red, Carbon Steel Grey, and Lava Red. On the exterior, the Sound Edition is distinguished by 'Sound Edition' badging on the C-pillar, complemented by additional graphics. Notably, this edition also includes powered front seats as a distinctive feature.

Volkswagen Taigun Sound Edition
Like the Virtus, the Taigun Sound Edition features matching graphics on the C-pillar, along with powered front seats and a 7-speaker sound system equipped with a subwoofer and amplifier. This edition of the Taigun comes in four colors: Lava Red, Rising Blue, Carbon Steel Grey, and Wild Cherry Red.
The Virtus and Taigun Sound Editions are equipped with a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that generates 115 bhp of power and 178 Nm of peak torque. This engine is offered with both a 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. Both the Virtus and Taigun Sound Editions are available in both manual and automatic transmission options.
