VW India has announced a month-long summer service camp for its customers that will end on June 15. In this service camp, VW ensures that a 40-point car check will be done on every car and is totally free of cost. This camp is held to check the condition of the car and offer any immediate advice on treatment to be done to the vehicle.
The carmaker is also providing peace of mind ownership as it provides offers on extended warranty, value-added services, service value packages and more. This camp is held across the 120 Volkswagen service facilities in India.
Commenting on the announcement, Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Volkswagen Passenger Cars India, said, At Volkswagen, our priority is to provide an affordable and hassle-free ownership experience to our customers.

With the ongoing summer season, it is advisable to conduct a vehicle health check-up for smooth and comfortable drive journeys. For the safety of the occupants, we are offering a 40-point vehicle health monitoring that allows our customers to focus on their driving experience.
In other news, VW is gearing up for the launch of its upcoming sedan, Virtus. The launch will take place in June and it'll be offered with two engine options - 1.0L TSI and 1.5L TSI. A 6-speed manual transmission will be offered as standard with the 1.0L motor while a 7-speed DSG sticks with the 1.5L TSI. There's also a 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox as an option that is only available with the 1.0L TSI.

We believe the prices of this sedan will stick between Rs 11 lakh to Rs 18 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi.
