VW Virtus is all set to be launched on June 9th and the sedan has already started arriving at dealerships. Earlier, we spotted the red colour scheme of the VW Virtus and now the rising blue colour images are out which looks really good. Ahead of its launch, all dealerships will be keeping display vehicles at the showroom and test vehicles so that the buyers can pick from the two engine options the carmaker has to offer.
VW Virtus is made available in two engine options - 1.0L TSI and a bigger and more powerful, 1.5L TSI. These units are the same as VW Taigun. The smaller, 1.0L motor belts out 114 bhp of power on tap with 178 Nm of peak torque. The 1.5L TSI engine generates 148 bhp of power with a whopping torque of 250 Nm. While the smaller, 1.0L TSI motor gets a 6-speed manual transmission as standard along with an optional 6-speed AT, the 1.5L TSI only gets a 7-speed DSG.
Feature-wise, the Virtus comes with an electric sunroof, a larger touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging, ventilated cooled front seats, LED headlights with LED daytime running lights, smoked LED taillights, 8.0-inch virtual cockpit, automatic climate control, cruise control and more.
