As a strong contender in the motorcycle world, Yamaha has been constantly introducing motorcycles that are trendy as well as performance-oriented. Since the trend of motorcycles has been shifting towards a retro focused platform, the bike maker without any delay introduces the Yamaha FZ-X 150cc motorcycle.
Yamaha has done a great job in terms of the design of the FZ-X which has elements that are aesthetically appealing. The retro-styled design is quite fresh and grabs attention, however, Yamaha has had hiccups in reaching its target customers. To improve the reach of this motorcycle, Yamaha decides to hop on social media for the benefit of its customers.
As soon as Yamaha jumped on Social media platforms to showcase the ability of this motorcycle, the company received mixed responses from auto enthusiasts and the motorcycle world. However, this has not stopped the motorcycle maker from aggressively marketing this product on social media platforms to simply prove its potential.
To make things interesting on social media, Yamaha has introduced a new challenge- the "Customise FZ-X challenge". With this, Yamaha aims to introduce unique designs of the FZ-X made by designers all around the country. One such custom design of the bike which caught our attention is the Yamaha FZ-X Cafe Racer designed by 'Autologue Design'

The Yamaha FZ-X Cafe Racer looks like something from the past that has been revived to life. It looks like something that has time travelled from the 1960s but with all the modern technology. Autologue Design has had an aerodynamic approach while designing this motorcycle since the front fairing looks like a fighter jet. The tank shrouds also present aerodynamic qualities.
The designers have maintained a dual-tone, yellow and black paint scheme on this motorcycle. The black stripe on the tank looks like an old camera film strip. Such details run throughout the bike. Other cosmetic features include round side-view mirrors, a brown saddle and a LED taillight.
As for the technical specification, the FZ-X gets a 149cc single-cylinder, air-cooled motor that churns out 12.2bhp at 7,250rpm. It can produce 13.3Nm of peak torque at 5,500rpm. The engine of the motorcycle is mated to a 5-speed gearbox. The vehicle gets 41mm telescopic front forks and a seven-step preload-adjustable rear mono-shock. The front and rear wheels get Disc brakes coupled with a single-channel ABS.
