Yamaha India has added a new 2022 Monster Energy Moto GP Edition to its lineup of particular motorcycles and scooters. These models include the RayZR 125 Fi Hybrid scooter, Aerox 155, MT-15 V2.0, and YZF-R15M motorcycles. All the premium Blue Square stores in India will sell the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition model line. The Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition model range will be offered in limited numbers.
2022 Yamaha Motorcycles MotoGP Lineup
The Yamaha MotoGP two-wheelers will have MotoGP-inspired paint schemes and decals. The Yamaha MotoGP branding is displayed on the petrol tank, side panels, and tank shrouds of the Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition motorbike model range, which includes the YZF-R15M and MT-15 V2.0. While the overall body of the AEROX 155 and RayZR Monster Energy MotoGP Edition is branded with the Yamaha MotoGP branding. The MotoGP editions only feature a flashy exterior, whereas the underpinnings and specifications are equivalent to regular model.
2022 Yamaha MotoGP Lineup Specifications
The Yamaha Ray ZR 125 Fi Hybrid MotoGP edition comes with a 125 cc engine which produces 8 bhp of power and 10.3 Nm of peak torque. Additionally, it has an Automatic Stop & Start System, which stops the engine from idling and starts it with a single throttle twist. On the other hand a 155cc liquid-cooled, DOHC, single-cylinder engine with variable valve actuation (VVA) powers the Aerox 155 MotoGP version. This motor produces a maximum torque of 14 Nm and 14.8 bhp of power.
The same 155cc engine that powers the Aerox 155 also powers the Yamaha MotoGP edition R15 and MT15, however, they have been tweaked to provide additional power and torque.
2022 Yamaha MotoGP Lineup Price
The pricing of the MotoGP edition variants is bit different from regular models. The most affordable two-wheeler from the lineup is the Ray ZR 125 and the most expensive is the R15M.
